Table element
A Table element is used to detect tables of different structures, including tables on financial documents. Additionally, a Table element can be used to detect any data which have a table-like structure. The program will rely on black separator lines and white gaps to look for table cells.
Table are marked with in the FlexiLayout tree.
- Switch to the FlexiLayout window.
- Go down the FlexiLayout tree to the nesting level where you wish to create a new element (select SearchElements for the first level).
- Select the required type of element (FlexiLayout > Add Element > Table).
- Specify the properties of the element:
- On the General tab, enter a name for the element and add your comment (optional). Then specify whether the element is optional or required;
Note.The name of an element must start with a letter or an underscore, which may be followed by letters and/or digits. You cannot use spaces or the following special symbols: ' . ', ' , ', ' : ', ' - ', ' \ ', ' / '. The name of an element must not coincide with any of the reserved words; - On the Columns tab, specify the table block bound to the element. Once you have specified the Table block, a list of all the columns of the selected block will appear in the List1 field. For each column, specify its search constraints;
- On the Order tab, specify the orders in which the columns may occur in the table on the images;
- On theHeadertab, specify the properties of the header of the table;
- On theFootertab, specify the properties of the footer of the table;
- On theRowstab, specify the properties of the rows;
- On the Search Constraints and Relations tabs, specify the search area for the entire table, including its body, header, and footer;
- If required, specify additional search relations on the Advanced tab.
