Batches

A batch is a collection of test images (pages) which are used for debugging the FlexiLayout.

The more test pages a batch contains, the better the resulting FlexiLayout. Test pages must be representative, i.e. they must include all the elements that may occur on the real-life documents to be processed and cover as many layout variations as possible.

You can add images of various formats to a batch. For a full list of supported formats, see the Supported images formats page.

A batch may contain images of different resolutions. You can also add images of one and the same document scanned at different resolutions. Thus, when creating and testing your FlexiLayout, you will be able to select the resolution that ensures the best quality of optical recognition and object detection.
