IFilter Workflow Settings Dialog Box: IFilter Workflow Properties

On this dialog box, you can configure the processing parameters for the files sent for recognition by Microsoft Search IFilter.

Specify the Input and Output folders of the workflow, the recognition schedule and the workflow priority.

Option Description
Input Folder

Path to the folder with images sent for recognition to ABBYY FineReader Server.

Note. If ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter and the Input folder are located on different computers, the Input folder must be shared, and the path to the folder must be specified in UNC format. The user account under which ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter Backend service is run (on the computer where the ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter is installed) must have read/write permissions to this folder.

Allows you to select the Input folder.
Output Folder

Path to the folder with recognized documents, images failed to be processed, and XML result files.

Note. If ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter and the Output folder are located on different computers, the Output folder must be shared, and the path to the folder must be specified in UNC format. The user account under which ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter Backend service is run (on the computer where the ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter is installed) must have read/write permissions to this folder.

Allows you to select the Output folder.
Activity

Allows specifying the file recognition schedule:

  • Always active
  • Run on schedule

You can create a schedule in the Schedule dialog box if you want the recognition to start at a particular time or at particular intervals. To create a schedule, click Schedule.... For more information, see Creating a Schedule.

Priority

Allows setting the workflow priority:

  • High
  • Above normal
  • Normal
  • Below normal
  • Low
