Dialog Box: XML
This dialog box allows you to specify XML format settings.
Set the parameters for saving recognized text in XML format:
| Option | Option description |
| New file after every ... pages | Specifies the maximum number of pages to be included in one file. |
| Tag and attribute settings group | |
| Write character attributes | Select this option if you want the character attributes (e.g. character coordinates) to be written in files in XML format. |
| Write extended attributes | Select this option if you want the extended attributes (e.g. whether a character was recognized with low confidence, whether the word was found in the dictionary) to be written in files in XML format. |
| Write coordinates based on original image | Select this option if you want the character coordinates on a non-deskewed image plane to be written in files in XML format. |
| Write character formatting | Select this option if you want the character formatting (e.g. font size, font style) to be retained in XML files. |
| Keep pictures |
Select this option to keep the pictures in the recognized text. The quality of the saved pictures and the size of the output file are determined by the option selected in the Keep pictures drop-down list.

Note. To customize the picture saving options, click Custom..., select the desired options in the Custom Settings dialog box, and click OK.See also
