Rule Settings dialog box

In the Advanced mode of the Workflow setup you can specify exit routs and enter conditions for a stage by using rules.

You can specify both conditions under which a task will be sent to successive stages and conditions under which documents are admitted to the stage.

Sending rules are configured in the Next Stage dialog box which appears when you add or edit a stage on the Exit Routes tab of the Workflow Stage Properties.

Rules specifying conditions under which documents are admitted to the stage are configured on the Entry Conditions tab of the Workflow Stage Properties.

Exit routes and enter conditions can be specified either by standard rules or by a Stage rule script.
