Defining Tasks

Before you can analyze data within your Task Mining project, you need to define the tasks. To define a task, specify its start and end events and a log cutting mode. The program will use the task definitions to mark up the log and identify the tasks inside. Next, the log needs to be cut on the basis of the task definitions, whereby its recorded events are converted into task instances and timelines.
