  • Color
    • Full color
Enabling this option will keep the original image colors in the result document.
    • Grayscale
Enabling this option will decrease the size of the result image while preserving a relatively high image quality.
    • Black and White
Enabling this option will significantly decrease the size of the result image.
  • Compression
When saving to the TIFF format, you can choose the compression method that will be used to decrease the size of the file. The selected compression method will affect both the quality of the result file and its size.
    • Packbits — will not result in data loss and is suitable for scanned black-and-white images.
    • ZIP — will not result in data loss and is suitable for images containing large areas of a single color, e.g. screenshots. This method is also suitable for black-and-white images.
    • JPEG — used for grayscale and color images, e.g. photos. This method allows you to significantly decrease the size of the result file, but leads to a data loss and a poorer image quality as a result, e.g. blurred outlines and loss of color tones.
    • LZW — no data loss, suitable for graphs and grayscale images.
