Editing the structure of a table
If a table has been split into rows and columns incorrectly during automatic analysis, you can correct the layout manually by doing the following:
- Merge Cells
- Split Cells
Note: The Split Cells operation can only be applied to cells that have been merged earlier. - Merge Rows
- Add Vertical Separator / Add Horizontal Separator
- Move Separator
- Remove Table Separator
To edit the structure of a table, use the appropriate tools from the side panel or the Area app menu commands.
Attention: If you have changed the document layout, text properties, or the table structure, you need to launch document recognition.
