Adding a Table Element

To add a table element:

  1. On the Form Elements toolbar, select the Table tool.
  2. Click in the form where you wish the table element to be added, hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse diagonally. A rectangle will appear on the screen. Adjust the size of the added element.
    Note.You can also create an element with a single click of the mouse: once you have selected the required tool, simply click in the form where you wish the element to be added. The default element size will be used. To place several elements of the same type on your form, hold down the Ctrl key and click repeatedly where you wish the elements to be positioned.
  3. In the dialog box that opens, specify the type of the table.
    • Select Use first row as header, if you wish to use the first table row as the header;
    • In the table displayed in the center of the dialog box, replace the default data names and data types with the desired names and types. You can select any number of columns;
    • In the Number of rows field, type the number of rows in your table.

Adding separators

If your form contains a table, the toolbar buttons for adding and removing separators become active. You can use these buttons to add/remove separators, thereby changing the number of rows and columns in the table.

Select the Add Separator tool and do one of the following:

  • Click inside the table to create a separator
  • Place the mouse cursor on an existing separator to move this separator. Placing the mouse cursor on an intersection of two separators will move both separators
  • Hold down the Ctrl key and place the mouse cursor on a separator to delete it
  • Hold down the Shift key and place the mouse cursor on a separator to change its type from vertical to horizontal and vice versa

Creating columns

Table columns may only contain elements of the same type. To create table columns, select the required element of the toolbar and click inside a column. An element of the selected type will be added into each cell in the column.

You can create columns of the following types:

  • text
  • entry field
  • date field
  • numeric field
  • checkmark field
