Should you have any questions regarding the use of ABBYY FineReader Server, first of all consult the documentation provided with this product (this Help and the Readme file). Useful information can also be found in the technical support section of the ABBYY Web site at support.abbyy.com.

If you cannot find the answer to your question, please e-mail the ABBYY office serving your region. Please provide the following information when contacting technical support:

  • your first and last name
  • the name of your organization
  • your phone number (or fax, or e-mail)
  • the serial number of your ABBYY FineReader Server 14 package
  • the protection type of your ABBYY FineReader Server 14 package (software or hardware)
  • the build number (in the Remote Administration Console main menu select Help > About ABBYY FineReader Server 14 Console or see Release notes.htm)
  • a description of the problem and the full text of the error message (if there was any)
  • the diagnostic information about your ABBYY FineReader Server 14. To receive a ZIP file with all necessary information run the diagnostic tool from the Remote Administration Console (in the context menu of the FineReader Server node select the Run Diagnostic Tool option, then save created archive)

If you have questions regarding the use of the ABBYY FineReader Server 14 Open API, please provide also:

  • a project that demonstrates the problem, with the necessary data files (this may be a slightly modified ABBYY FineReader Server sample; we recommend that you compress the files using any popular archiving program, such as WinZIP, WinRAR, etc.)
  • the name of your development tool

You may also wish to provide any additional information you consider important.
