Schedule Usage

Schedule is an option in a template that allows you to run recording on a Recorder instance automatically on a particular day and time.

Go to the Templates tab and click a template name to open its' settings. Toggle on Scheduled recording and configure recording sessions of user activity. When enabled, the configuration panel appears. To set up the schedule:

Select days of the week when recording sessions should be captured.
Click the clock icon to set the start and the end time.
From and To values cannot be the same.
Note. Recording sessions are always interrupted at midnight. For example, if the start time is later than the end time, i.e. set: From 18:00 To 9:00, the recording will be carried out at the following intervals: 00:00 - 9:00 and 18:00 - 24:00.
Click Save template in the top right corner to apply changes.

The schedule applies to all Recorder instances that this template is assigned to. For details see 'How to Apply Templates and Start Recording'. If a template is already assigned to a Recorder instance, Recorder will load the new schedule after the changes to the template are saved.

How Schedule Affects Recorder Operation

Recorder checks the current schedule and starts or stops recording according to it.
Recorder starts recording only when recording is enabled on the user's computer. That is, if the user stopped Recorder on the computer, the scheduled recording will not start.
Starting from version 6.0.1, Recorder shows the time of the next scheduled recording in the system tray status.
The schedule always works in the time zone of a Recorder user.
