Filling of registration parameters

To start using the FlexiCapture mobile client, a user needs to connect to the FlexiCapture server by specifying the server's URL, the name of the company that is being a tenant in a multi-tenant system, login and password. After the user completes the authorisation, he/she may select a project. After the project has been selected, a user is granted access to batch types, document definitions, and registration parameters that are specified in the selected project.

Note: An Administrator must make sure that the project contains all the necessary batch types and document definitions with Operators being able to access them and that the json file with registration parameters is placed in the project's file storage.

Entering registration parameters

To enter registration parameters of the batch, a user must select Specify parameters from the batch menu.

Important! Users may enter registration parameters of the batch if the relevant batch type contains the list of parameters in the json file.

To enter registration parameters of the document, a user must select Specify parameters from the document menu.

Important! Users may enter registration parameters of the document if the type of the relevant document is specified and the Document Definition contains the list of parameters in the json file. Users may enter registration parameters of an unknown document if the relevant batch type contains the list of parameters for unknown documents in the json file.

To enter the value of a parameter, a user must enter it in the relevant field. It is also possible to fill in parameters by means of the voice input (if your device allows you to do so). To switch to the voice input, select a voice controlled keyboard from the task menu of your device.

Mandatory text parameters

Mandatory text parameters are highlighted in red. If a user leaves them blank, the program will suggest that he/she enters the required values before sending the batch.

Automatically filled parameters are available in the read-only mode and cannot be edited by users. Their visibility options are configured in settings.

Note: To use the GPS coordinates to determine location, a user must allows access to his/her geographic location. If he/she forbids access, this parameter remains blank.
