Configuring batch type settings as the Administrator
This functionality is available only to users with Administrator permissions.
The Administrator creates batch types in the Project Setup Station. It is allowed to create one or several batch types for each project. The Web Scanning Station allows users to configure batch type settings available for the selected project.
The Project Setup Station enables users to specify batch type properties related to their processing on the server. The Web Scanning Station lets users to change settings related to scanning, forming documents, and sending batches to the server.
The Administrator has permissions to edit and save batch type settings. New settings will be saved on the server and may be used by Operators during their work.
To edit batch type settings, select the appropriate batch type from the drop-down list and click Settings on the Batches page. The station will open the Batch type properties dialog.
Batch type settings are broken down by groups. Each of these groups displays on a separate tab. Each tab has the following functions:
- Reset to default
Clicking this button resets all modified settings to default values. - Forbid operator to change
This option lets the Administrator grant or deny Operator permissions to edit settings while working with the batch. If the option is selected, Operators will not be able to modify parameters of the working batch.
