Setting up the connection protocol

To set up the server protocol, use the ConnectionProtocolType parameter in the NetworkLicenseServer.ini file located in %programfiles%\Common Files\ABBYY\FineReader\15\Licensing.

This parameter allows you to either specify a network protocol (TCP\IP) or use the Named Pipes protocol. This information is used:

by the License Manager to access the License Server
by the workstations to access the License Server when ABBYY FineReader PDF 15 is being installed or repaired on them

By default, the Named Pipes protocol is used.
