ABBYY FineReader 12 Sprint allows you to create searchable PDFs from images that contain text.

  1. Feed an image to the program
You can scan a paper document or open a previously created image file with ABBYY FineReader 12 Sprint. You can also convert images directly from Windows Explorer by simply right-clicking them and selecting the appropriate command on the shortcut menu.
  2. Specify the language of your document
To correctly recognize text on an image, the program needs to know the language of the text.
  3. If required, split facing pages, correct perspective distortions, and rotate the pages to restore their normal orientation. This will improve the quality of text recognition. See Improving Conversion Results for more information.
  4. On the EXPORT SETTINGS pane, click the PDF Document button and specify a location on your hard drive where to save the document.
