Finding suitable skills for your documents

On the Documents page, you can upload your documents and let ABBYY Vantage automatically select the appropriate Document skill for them.

ABBYY Vantage will detect the type of your documents and attempt to select the most suitable Document skill from the Skill Catalog. If a suitable skill is found, it will be automatically applied to the uploaded documents. For more information on how to upload documents, see the Adding and deleting documents and Uploading documents from your mobile device sections.

If ABBYY Vantage fails to select a suitable skill or if you are not satisfied with its choice, you can select a skill manually. For more information, see Applying skills manually.

You can also create a custom skill for processing a specific document type. For more information, see Creating your own skills.
