The Indexing Station is an ABBYY FineReader Server 14 component that allows an operator to select document type and assign attributes to documents. These attributes can be used later for document classification, search and retrieval.
After all pages of the document have been recognized and, if necessary, verified, the document is queued for indexing (if indexing is required by the workflow settings). Depending on the settings, automatic document indexing can be carried out first, followed by manual indexing and verifying the results of automatic indexing at the Indexing Station. Documents from the queue arrive at the Indexing Station automatically.
The Indexing Station can be installed on any computer in the network.
To open the Indexing Station, select Indexing Station in Start > Programs > ABBYY FineReader Server 14.
